This project is similar to the one realized for Teatro alla Scala, with smaller dimensions and goals. In this case the theatre has asked LIM to "save" the audio contents of about 200 selected tapes from its archives. Those tapes have been catalogued and organized through a simple database.

The project ended in February 2000. LIM activities allowed to preserve highly precious music contents on CD-R supports, making also a backup copy. Among the saved recordings, it is worth to cite a number of great performers. Besides, some relevant cultural exchanges between Scala and Bolshoi have been documented.
